Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Verona

Spent four nights for the Boxing Hall Of Fame induction weekend. Rooms were clean, service was good and the location is ideal for the events. I'm not one for continental breakfast but it was one of the better ones I've had compared to others in the area! Thx, Mark O. - Schenectady, NY

Stay here! It's actually walking distance to Turning Stone Casino but they do have a shuttle that will take you there for free and pick you up. They have a dispensary, Dunkin' donuts, and a bar restaurant within walking distance. Lobby was very nice.

Nice and friendly staff. Rooms are nice, beds comfortable, bathroom is nice and they have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Rooms are quiet so it’s nice you won’t hear your neighbor. Free shuttle to/from Turning Stone until 2am (?). Free breakfast in the morning with eggs, sausage, muffins, etc.

Clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff, and free shuttle rides to the casino until 11 pm. We stayed as part of a group of 16, for a couple of nights. Everyone had a good stay, without any problems or concerns. The staff were helpful in suggesting restaurants in the area. There is a sports bar next door with great drink prices and menu as well.

Stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott and honestly the real highlight was Austin at the front desk. We showed up when there was literally one room left, and somehow Austin made it happen and hooked us up with a great deal like some kind of hospitality wizard. Austin was incredibly sweet, kind, and attentive — the kind of person who makes you feel immediately comfortable… maybe too comfortable. He was so helpful that at one point I wondered if he secretly knew we were coming. (In a good way. Mostly.) Also, we need to talk about the glasses. Very handsome. Memorable. I would absolutely recognize those glasses in a lineup. If Austin ever changed jobs, I fear this hotel would immediately lose its soul. All jokes aside, his customer service was top-tier and genuinely made our stay better. If you stay here and don’t meet Austin, did you really stay here at all?

My husband and I recently stayed overnight at the Fairfield Marriott in Verona, NY during our road trip from Toronto, Canada, to Vermont. It turned out to be an excellent stopover. We were delighted by the extensive breakfast options, including waffles, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, fresh fruit, various yogurts, and a selection of juices and coffee. It was a great way to start our day. It was easy to find a clean table to eat at as we purposely arrived before half way through their breakfast time period. The hotel is quiet and enforces this policy, ensuring a peaceful and restful night. I didn't need my earplugs. While the shuttle bus service to the Turning Stone Casino wasn't available, driving there was easy with plenty of parking both at the hotel and the casino garage. Our King room was comfortable, featuring a microwave, a fridge, an armchair, a desk with a chair, and excellent pump shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The only minor drawback was the extremely shallow bathtub. Linens and towels were decent. The bed was reasonably comfortable. We booked directly with Marriott several months in advance, and the process was smooth. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, adding to our positive experience. We didn't have time to use the indoor pool and gym but the pool requires a waiver which means it was quiet. If you're planning a road trip and need a convenient stopover, we highly recommend the Fairfield Marriott in Verona. It offers comfort, convenience, and excellent breakfast, especially if you're visiting the Turning Stone Casino. Overall, our stay was very satisfying, and we would gladly return on future trips.

I cannot thank these people enough! The woman in charge of housekeeping and the person who helped me at the front desk are the best! I left a whole bag of belongings here, including an expensive bracelet and wallet and they shipped everything back to me! We have family in the area and will 100% keep this place in mind as a place to stay again. Thank you!!

Great location and very friendly staff. Shuttle service to & from the casino was very helpfully. Nice size room, clean & good breakfast. Trish will make you fill very welcomed, see you on my return trip to the area
